Chemonics International, a U.S.-based international development firm, is accepting applications from technical experts for the anticipated USAID Developing Export-led Growth in Kosovo Project. The overall goal of this project is to boost exports by enhancing the competitiveness of key sectors and promoting greater integration with European and global markets, thus generating private sector employment in Kosovo. This activity will take a market systems approach to improve private sector performance to meet the standards of the international market, thus boosting exports and employment. We are looking for individuals based in Kosovo who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Chemonics International is recruiting experts for long-term positions in the following areas:
- Enterprise competitiveness
- Export promotion
- Workforce development
- Access to finance
- SME, value chain, and sector development
- Trade facilitation
- USAID project administration, operations, human resources, financial and grants management, monitoring & evaluation, and communications
Qualified candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- At least five years of professional experience implementing programming or providing technical input and advisory services in the above-mentioned technical areas
- Experience working on USAID or other international donor projects
- Experience working in Kosovo and/or the Balkans
- Experience working within the private sector preferred
- University degree in business, economics, marketing, trade, or a related field
- Fluency in Albanian and English required; fluency in Serbian preferred
